PET PICKS: Dog Silhouette Greeting Cards

I don't know about you, but every year around this time I start to panic about sending out holiday cards. Despite being in the stationery business with the ability to print my own cards, I still seem to run out of time, which is why most of my friends and family only hear from me every three or four years. Part of the problem is my perfectionist nature. When will I have time to take that perfect photo of both kids with our two dogs? Why didn't I do it this summer when my garden looked lush and the kids were out of school? And worst of all, how many shots will it take to snag one decent photo of all four subjects?

This year, I'm happy to report that my best friend and cohort in Best Friends Studios took wonderful photos of both kids along with Jasmine and Scamp so all I have to do (ha ha) is design a coordinating card, print and mail. But even though I've finally got my act together for this year's Christmas cards, I'm willing to bet there are many well-intentioned dog lovers out there who just don't have the time or energy to photograph their best friend for a holiday card.

So this past weekend, I got busy designing a new line of HOLIDAY CARDS that can be customized with one of the 90 dog breed silhouettes available for personalized stationery at Best Friends Studios.  Each of these foldover cards can be personalized with an optional holiday greeting, as well. Hope you like them! I'll be adding more designs this week so check back or feel free to contact me ( with questions/special requests. Ellen
